Hilarious!

This was one of the funniest flashes I've ever seen. Me and my friend act like that all the time and it reminded me of us so much. I loved the animation of the mouths - all crazy and shit. The dialogue was funny in a stupid way, but good nonetheless. I'll give you a 10, and hope to god that this gets Underdog of the Week. Fav'ed!

Crumie responds:

sadly im not gonna get shit haha

glad you liked it

Gettin better all the time :D

Easily the best one, and I must say, congratulations. It looks like you're headed for another daily feature! I remember watching the original - SMB Bloopers for the first time, and seeing you improve this much is a great feeling for me and im sure it's 100 times greater for you. You really deserve all of this recognition on front page - you're one of the best sprite artists out there.

As for the flash itself, it was spectacular. Awesome custom sprites - professional, yet humorous. Fluid animation and beautiful backgrounds. I was also very impressed at your ability to find all of those sounds - did you record any yourself? Either way, it was phenomenal. Your skits are becoming better and more amusing, for me anyways. Not as much Peach thongs flying around or excessive cursing, but you did mix some of your style in there, which was a very nice touch. Excellent scene selection and menu page, even the intro was hilarious when the sign fell on Mario! You integrated a Jaws parody in the middle of all of it, which I really appreciated as well.

In the end, this is the best in the series. Are you going to do Super Mario World Bloopers and/or Yoshi's Island Bloopers, or is this the last one? Anyway, fantastic job and I'm always a fan of your stuff. Good luck with the trophies, you might even get a weekly award! Congrats man :D

then, WHY THE F*CK YOU PUT ME A 9?????
hahahahahha, no , just kidding
anyway, i have to thank you for you exelent review. is so detailed, and positive.
i just cant wait for your SML IV.
and i gonna make a SMW and YI bloopers, but in late 2006, now i´m gonna make different movies, with more action than humor. but keeping the sprites.
thanks

Here's some Improvement.

Defintely better than part2. Great job mixing up the backgrounds and music and in general, the skits were better. Floating platforms was easily the best, it made me chuckle nice and deep :D Once again, make some of your tweens quicker, but you're getting the idea. Put about two or three more skits in for the next one, and I wish you luck with it. Keep it up.

Camron23 responds:

Thanks, I'll have something new
real soon... stay tunned.

Alright, since you asked...

...not bad, not bad at all. In general, this was about average, but i'll give you some tips on how to improve. Firstly, change up the music a bit. That overworld theme began to get monotonous after a while. Switch to either underground, underwater, or castle settings ever once in a while to mix things up a bit. Secondly, make some of your tweens not as lengthy - the skit with Luigi stealing Mario's hat was the worst offender (it took Mario far too long to reach his brother). Besides those two matters, the movie was pretty good. Your skits were decent - my favorite was the one mentioned above. Anyway, good job. You definitely have it in you, and with a few tweeks, your score might be higher than you'd ever imagine. Good luck in the future Camron :D

Camron23 responds:

Alright, i'll see that gets fixed.
Thanks for the info.

Pretty Average

Well, first off, I want to commend you guys for working on flash at such a young age. Most 13 year olds could only dream of making something like this. As for the flash, it wasn't bad. The animation was a bit choppy, and the graphics were rather simple, but clean enough. The major problem I saw was how the violence was animated. Getting stabbed by a knife would produce a much larger bloody mess. You should have animated a spurt of blood as he got stabbed, and put a little bit more blood afterwards. Also, try animating the stabbing motion a bit faster. It seemed like your character was just poking his enemies with the knife instead of jabbing it into them. Pretty good stuff nonetheless. You dudes have potential.

Smoke-Tower responds:

yeah its FBF so yeah some frames made it look jumpy yeah my mates give me like advice and help me along the way and yeah im glad you liked it...
yeah i dont care what people think of my age im 13 so what but i animate better then most people!

-Justin :) yeah the knife part.... was like pokey instead of a rough jab throught the back or something but in the 3rd im ganna spend alot more time... instead of just a week or 2...

thanks for the advice! :)

Just not as good.

I hate to say it, but this was no where near as good as the other AFDs. For once, the music began to piss me off about a minute into the film. The artists, plain and simple, were not as talented as the ones in AFD4, so it kind of makes this seem like the "B Team" of the group. There wasn't as much violence as there could have been, and there was a little too much tweening going on for my taste. Still, it wasn't bad. The AFD spirit was definitely still in there, regardless of skill level. Better luck next time guys.

MACception responds:

"Better skill my ass... Lol, jk jk. I understand you point and thank you for being honest. Hell, thank you for STATING THE OBVIOUS! I know the group here is the '2nd rate artists' but there is just as much violence and AFD spirit that there is in every movie."

Cruel

From the beginning, for some reason, I could sense an unexpected twist coming my way, but that was just low man. I can see that you were trying to utilize 'shock value' to increase the humor, but honestly, you would've been much better off either making the movie sane, or using a totally different type of humor. It's never a good idea to attack a race. It's one thing to make a jew joke, but when it's as blatant as throwing a jewish symbol (in this case the muffin) into flames with stawstikas being bradished about, you're taking it about five steps too far. I'm not jewish myself, but to me, this was obviously offensive.

However, there is potential in you. If you cleaned up your humor, I'm sure you'd have greater success on you next movie. Good luck in the future.

NewEvolution responds:

Clearly some people are bound to get offended by this. And, some people are bound to find it absofuckinglutely hilarious. I appreciate you making your point known without resorting to calling me some random epithet.

As for cleaning up my act, this is my only "dirty" work. And ironically, it's the 3rd highest rated of 7, so that goes to show you something about this submission worked.

I'm not trying to defend racism here, racism is clearly a bad thing. I AM defending off-color humor. Humor however is a weird amorphous subject, and this, while a bit disturbing, seems to have hit the funny bones of at least a few people. I won't even get into the whole freedom of speech/expression thing, but you get where I'm headed.

Thanks again for the constructive criticism and well wishes in spite of your distaste for the subject at hand.

Wow! Much better guys

At first I thought this was going to be a cheesy, half assed series, but these things just keep getting better and better with each film. Great use of that Control remix music - I really liked it (I was just playing some 007 earlier this day :D). As the last reviewer said, the gunshots and reactions are getting pretty realistic, although an MP5 would usually be fired in spurts, not single shots (didn't bother me though). I thought it was great how the "Picked up a PP7 silenced." would pop up on the bottom of the screen also, just like the game itself. The best part for me though, was the quality of the camera - it was excellent without much distortion at all. Great job. I'm looking forward to the next installment :D

Chris-Aldin responds:

Wow, nice review man. Thanks for all the input stuff. Yeah, about the single shot mp5 thing, its hard to time all shots if it was rapid fire.

Hoep you can enjoy our future movies too.

Not bad, not bad at all.

This was pretty good dude. I can tell you're new at flash, and this was a pretty decent attempt. Making the sticks talk was a great idea - it keep people more interested. I just didn't like the whole " gay queer thing". I've made some movies where I put gay jokes in the dialogue, and let me tell you something : it's really not worth it. You're bound to get a bad review saying how you insulted gays, which in a sense you did. Personally, I know you were joking and stuff, but it might offend others and could therefore lower your score. So just for future references, stay away from gay jokes. The animation was average, and there wasn't much wrong with the sound. Good job overall man, and stick with it :D

rz-stick responds:

new at flash?!?!?!? ive been animating for a year!!! but ive only started focusing on sticks like that for the past well, 2 days that took me about 3 hours and nobody has said anything about my joke so far, so who cares xD

Wow, that was quick!

Knox! You're great man. "Throw that by me again, hotshot!" That was the coolest line I've heard in a while. At first I didn't think this would be up to par with your other submissions because of how rapidly you made it, but you have proven me wrong. Great job man, and keep it up :D

Knox responds:

thank you, bigfoot..im still looking for you

Animation is great for so many reasons...whether you're looking to reconnect with your past, to express an opinion, dream, or thought, or to just make people laugh :)
