You've Done Better

I was a little dissappointed here, especially after watching MengoMango only a couple weeks back. You still have that great drawing ability and the animation was pretty good, but I think the story wasn't quite up to par. The clock voices didn't help either. Try harder Keicho - you're one of the best on NG when you put your heart into it.

Not Bad

I was hoping for some more animation, but I guess this was alright. I liked the idea of a storybook, but again, the lack of animation really took away from your score.

A tad overrated. Just a tad. Either way, as far as clock flashes go, this was pretty good. Tom Fulp is a strage fellow, and that pic of him was golden. But honestly, that's the only part that really got me. The rest seemed to drag a bit. Good animation, I guess I'm just sick of clocks.

Utter hilarity. I loved the character designs and graphics in general. Excellent plot/storyline - it was loads of fun to watch this. My favorite part had to be when the dude with the bump on his head was breathing down the neck (literally) of that poor kid playing xbox. This was a nice, fresh breath of original air that's needed desperately on NG. You da man.

Good for a Chuckle

The drawings were a bit too simplistic for my tastes, but the animation was good. It was a calm flick, and that's what bothered me the most. I mean, it was just a little boring, with nothing much really going on. Still, it was pretty good, and the voices were done nicely.

You're a Puzzling Fellow

But that's what I enjoy most about you. You seem to be very independent and your work is always unique. Interesting shapes and animation as always. The graphics are ultra slick during one scene, and flowing off the screen the next. Your style rivals that of David Firth. I often find myself watching one of your works thinking, "what the hell is going on?" That's what keeps me coming back for more. Great job Zekey, and good luck with the Feature.

[Mario Gets Massive!]

If Only it was Funny...

You had something going there with the shnazzy preloader and custom sprites. The presentation was phenomenal and you had the perfect combination of sound effects. However, this was obviously meant to be funny, yet I found no real original or humorous content. The big mushroom squishes Mario ... Mario becomes extremely big and then shrinks in midair. Believe me, I know it's hard to think of Mario skits nowadays, since most of 'em have been done to death. I'm just dissappointed that you put all of that effort into the beautiful customs and spot-on animation and "wasted" it on such a mundane plot.

Very Good

King David. It has been a while, eh? It seems you're headed for a trophy, so I'll throw in my two cents.

I'll start with the bad news (which fortunately for you, there isn't much). The sound. I'm sure you're aware, but the whole helium Mario voice was a bit irritating. If you could 86 the helium, the flash would be all the more enjoyable. The only other thing I can point out - well, it's Mario. It's been done a billion times blah blah blah. You know the deal. It's hard for me to give any higher than a 7 in style on a Mario sprite flash. Not your fault.

Now, on to the good stuff. Excellent, excellent animation. You manipulated the sprites with grace and perfection. It's some of the best out there, actually, so great job on that. The jokes were also delightful. For the most part, they were original and funny. I especially enjoyed Toad's eyes bleeding and seeing Peach in the wreckage of her beloved castle. Adding blood is always a perk with me, and you animated it quite nicely. You had well-composed remixes of the original SMW soundtrack. It was a treat for the ears! To top it all off, this felt like an actual Mario game. That's the most important thing (in my opinion) when I watch a parody. It's certainly hard to pull off - you need realistic movements for all of the characters, the right music, the right backgrounds, etc. You sir, however, just about nailed it. Congrats on a great flash, and good luck with Daily awards and Front Page.

Cool you again! You reviewed my "billy's big day." Apearently you also know ArkAngel? o.o he talks about u alot to me, he talks to me alot too ahah. Yeah it looks like I am so far I have daily feature *dances* :) And check the movie now dude I fixed the sound like 20 minutes ago so it's a-ok! Hmm I really wouldn't expect anything like sprites are over done comming from you, considering you make alot of sprites O.O yeah this will probabley be my last, I havent done a sprite since october 05' anyway, I usually just do drawn, nice break sometimes though. I'm glad you liked my animation :) Thanks, im shocked to hear this since I bearly have any sprite expirence AT ALL and this flash only took me a week and half :) I had to practise a little bit though to get my sprite skills back to were they were in october though mind you. Yeah glad you liked the jokes I spent Alot of time in them, ALOT (LOL 10 MINUTES TO WRITE THE SCRIPT XD) Yeah a few people have commented on the toad's eyes bleeding and all ahah XD yeah most peoples favorite scene is the wrong castle bit, couldnt be obvious and give me skit away though naming it that, so uh-oh fit perfect XD. Yeah I really liked the remixes, cant believe no one has ever used them before, I just typed in SMW MP3s on google and they were popping up all over the place XD. LOL A TREAT TO THE EARS X3 yeah I used the REAL backgrounds from the game and even played the actually game to sent up things right for that kind of touch :P Thanks for the good review! You know how to do them right, your not to generous or too harsh, just perfect! Thanks, i really hope i keep up with daily 1st! i doubt frontpage though, I kinda hate it after what it did to billy's big day, before front page: 4.15 after 3.40, X_x

[Sprite Shorts: B. C.]

A Genuine Quickie

This is what a quickie should look, act, and smell like. Great sprite animation and backgrounds. Spot on use of the original soundtrack. But best of all, a random and surprisingly funny joke at the end. One of the best video game quickies out there. Outstanding work.

[Extreme Super Mario World]

Entertaining

That was fantastic in a very unusual way. As far as Mario sprite movies go, this is definitely one of the better ones. I loved the extremely random nature of this, and I cracked up when I saw Mario throw Peach into that giant Bullet Bill! I watched Super Mario Blitz again today, and it's the only flash that's similar to this one (to my knowledge). The remixed guitar versions of the overworld were astounding. Great sprite animation. I enjoyed it.
