Awesome

Poignant satire, my man. Couldn't agree more - when you really stop and think about the way Twitter is set up, you get a scummy taste in the back of your mouth. Stylish graphics and animation to boot. Great work and narration.

Aced It.

Mr. Manukyan, I am really diggin' these shorts. This one in particular struck home because it's so true. Over the past year, I have removed almost 300 people from my Facebook, largely because they would all post the most trivial, useless crap. I was so sick of seeing the minifeed filled with messages like "Dude I just made a sandwich!" and "I forgot to clip one of my fingernails! FML." Seems like modern forms of communication are ironically flinging us back into the Stone Age. Anyway, great animation; on par with the rest of your work. Pleasure as always.

Very Nice

Well thought out and genuinely funny. Great, fluid animation - certainly on par with your other flashes. Quality stuff.

HAH!

I am in full agreement with jibbodahibbo; there were many funny parts, but "what if your face became ... not penguins" made me laugh my lungs out.

This was a very crafty idea. The voices of the participants could have been more clear, but a good mic is hard to come by (or afford). The animation was spot-on, especially in regard to the facial expressions.

My golden rule: if a flash actually makes me laugh out loud, I almost always grant a 5/5 & 10/10. Ed, Dave, and Dan - you guys deserve it. Great work!

YES!

Coming from Mr. Manukyan, we all knew this was gonna be brimming with top-notch animation and graphics.

But the punchline! MAN! So simple, but that one-liner really hit the funnybone. This was fantastic. Great work!

Nice!

Great, action-packed stick flashin'! Your movie was the quintessential stickman shoot-'em-up, with great graphics, special effects, backgrounds, and sounds. What impressed me most, however, was the obvious amount of planning that went into each scene. The group of "triangle heads" reacted intelligently to their environment(s), and the choreography was really a treat to watch.

Very nice work, Simon.

Well Done. Absolutely Fantastic.

Probably the best story writing I have seen on NG. I know from your other posts and updates that you have been working on this arduous project for quite some time, and your work ethic shines through in the final product.

Generally, I am not a fan of the anime-style, but this was certainly an exception. A large percentage of anime-based cartoons demonstrate lack luster animation techniques, yet you "crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's": even the jawbone and chin animation was persistent. The backgrounds, too, were full of detail, with numerous layers of shading, intricate castle brick lattices, and everything else required for a convincing atmosphere. However, most compelling was the evolution of the story. The plot of this flash could be seamlessly transposed into a short story format. I believe this was due, in large part, to the various flashbacks that you placed throughout the film - you gave the viewer just enough information to allow for inferences, while not giving away too much to render the plot uninteresting. Essentially, you trusted the audience to understand your artwork, which is a fundamental quality of any great storyteller (Hollywood could learn a thing or two from you), and, likewise, a necessity for any great flash.

Great job, Spike. You deserve every "10" and all measures of praise for this one. Astounding work!

I don't like flash backs but....I guess there's a time for everything. Also I don't like this project much either. It's a nice sign of growing.

Exactly. Trust the audience.

...that thing you said about hollywood...is really embarrassing. I'll take it as a joke....

Nice n' Charming

Very impressive FBF animation. The transitions between the cat's several different poses were fluid and life-like. The story was cute and even a bit funny, so all-around great job!

Excellent

Great style in this piece - I really enjoyed the pencil/sketched drawings. I thought the juxtaposition of the black and white Professor Fut and the colorful depiction of his insanity was brilliantly executed. It's a bit difficult to find a message in this flash. Maybe you're touching on the student tendancy to view professors/teachers as "aliens" - people with little humanity. Whatever the case, this was a thought-provoking flash and one that should have a much higher score.

Great job.

No Substance

An obnoxious mixture of irritating voice acting and a lack of any clever or humorous dialogue. I understand that the play was supposed to be pathetic. However, the flash relied on little else but a liberal peppering of basic slapstick. Four points for the decent animation, but this was a thorough disappointment.

Animation is great for so many reasons...whether you're looking to reconnect with your past, to express an opinion, dream, or thought, or to just make people laugh :)
