Thank God

I knew it was just a matter of time before something like this would pop up. Great job with all the excessive farts and what not. The voice acting was brilliant in general, although there were a couple of spots that were just too crazy to understand (but I understand it was partially intentional). Anyway, great job. I'm sure this one will stir up some controversy, but you definitely have my 5. :D

Wow! Much better guys

At first I thought this was going to be a cheesy, half assed series, but these things just keep getting better and better with each film. Great use of that Control remix music - I really liked it (I was just playing some 007 earlier this day :D). As the last reviewer said, the gunshots and reactions are getting pretty realistic, although an MP5 would usually be fired in spurts, not single shots (didn't bother me though). I thought it was great how the "Picked up a PP7 silenced." would pop up on the bottom of the screen also, just like the game itself. The best part for me though, was the quality of the camera - it was excellent without much distortion at all. Great job. I'm looking forward to the next installment :D

Chris-Aldin responds:

Wow, nice review man. Thanks for all the input stuff. Yeah, about the single shot mp5 thing, its hard to time all shots if it was rapid fire.

Hoep you can enjoy our future movies too.

Not bad, not bad at all.

This was pretty good dude. I can tell you're new at flash, and this was a pretty decent attempt. Making the sticks talk was a great idea - it keep people more interested. I just didn't like the whole " gay queer thing". I've made some movies where I put gay jokes in the dialogue, and let me tell you something : it's really not worth it. You're bound to get a bad review saying how you insulted gays, which in a sense you did. Personally, I know you were joking and stuff, but it might offend others and could therefore lower your score. So just for future references, stay away from gay jokes. The animation was average, and there wasn't much wrong with the sound. Good job overall man, and stick with it :D

rz-stick responds:

new at flash?!?!?!? ive been animating for a year!!! but ive only started focusing on sticks like that for the past well, 2 days that took me about 3 hours and nobody has said anything about my joke so far, so who cares xD

Wow, that was quick!

Knox! You're great man. "Throw that by me again, hotshot!" That was the coolest line I've heard in a while. At first I didn't think this would be up to par with your other submissions because of how rapidly you made it, but you have proven me wrong. Great job man, and keep it up :D

Knox responds:

thank you, bigfoot..im still looking for you

Awesome Work

Great job man, I really love this series a lot. First off, it's just damn cool how you made yourself in custom sprite form. It must be so sweet seeing yourself fight alongside Mario and the like. I thought it was amazing how you broke into the StarWars storyline with Wario and DK posing as Han and Chewie. That was too good man. I also saw "Unclassified Specimen" earlier today and it was just as good, if not better. Your storylines are interesting, and that's the main reason I'll keep watching your stuff, besides the fact that you're and excellent sprite artist. The only problem I had was Roy's sprite. I think if you filled in his little grey pixels with black, it would look much better. But that was the only thing and it was very minor. Great music as usual, and congrats on another kickass flash. 9/10 5/5

von-Brunk responds:

Thank you! Sprite work is easy, that is if you don't put in too much effort, but when done properly, sprite work can be exceedingly difficult, yet the outcome can turn out spectacular.

The Baron von Brunk sprite had many facelifts before I decided to use the black suit+spiked helmet. Previous versions had him wearing a lab coat, pilot goggles, or a cowboy hat.

Be sure to look for the next episodes, due next month!

Well...

It seemed like David Firth's work, except when he was six or something. You need to work on your animation. Make the tweens faster and less choppy. Use a frame rate that's at least 18, I prefer 24. As for the plot and story, I couldn't really attach to any of it. Some weird grey man smashes a beetle. The sub. messages were just plain annoying and unnecessary. At least the graphics weren't all that bad. Keep tryin man.

Great, Original Humor

I love your style dude, and its great to see that you have your own Nuggets collection page now. You really deserve it man. The "When did I have corn?!" thing was perfect, as well as going back for seconds, utilizing all the brain and mind reading powers you can muster. Crazy stuff man. Awesome job! This series ownz.

Miggs responds:

Yes, the Nuggets page is definantly a step. We're very happy about it. Tom is the best for setting it up. Thanks for your good words, man! We hope to entertain you for hours to come... years even.

Smooth

Fluent animation and decent graphics. Two things that bugged me - the song is very overused and it was basically madness/bunnykill with an alien. It even had the little kill counter and everything. The plot was simple, but it worked. Not a bad job man. Keep it up.

Perfect

In a weird way, this rocked. Loved it man.

Needs Much Work

You're obviously new at flash (or at least I hope), and possibly new at sprites, so I'll give you a few suggestions. First off, try and think of better dialog. If you're going to make a Mario movie, please don't make it that the princess was captured, especially not by Bowser. We've seen it a million times man, and a million +1 is not what we need. Your sprites were'nt horrible, but they were on the poor side. There were many mistakes, such as having a movie clip play when the scene isn't fully faded in, or making the animation of the sprite too quick. Combine that with a sluggish tween and you have some impossible physics (unless the dude's on ice or something). Also, the sound choice was terrible. A single song that loops four dozen times is annoying and undesirable. Pick at least two or three songs for your movies (unless it's a music video). The humor was very childish, and it made me cringe rather than giggle. If you don't think you're a funny guy, then don't try to be someone that you aren't. Stick with serious flashes instead. That's all I have to say, and I hope you take at least some of these pointers seriously. Good luck next time man.

Animation is great for so many reasons...whether you're looking to reconnect with your past, to express an opinion, dream, or thought, or to just make people laugh :)
