Quite the Trip

Really interesting flash. I can't decide whether I found it more hilarious or intriguing. The storytelling was spot on in terms of tempo and delivery, and the characters were perfectly quirky. Awesome job.

Like last time, I'm honored. And also like last time, I am feeling outclassed! Everyone did a great job. I've been watching Callum's stuff for several years and he's one of the best custom sprite artists around. "ifureadthisdie"s 3D intro took me by surprise, as did Mr. Lange's absolutely ridiculous finale. The organization was clean and the presentation was as professional as sprite films get.

I know many people feel Mario sprite films and the Castle Calamity concept are antiquated, and frankly I agree. But this collab stands out from the exceedingly large heap of Mario flashes on Newgrounds in a way similar to Phantasmagoria-crow in 2003 and Randy Solem in 2004-5. If you guys decide to make a third one, good luck; you've really outdone yourselves here.

I'm almost speechless after watching this animation. The music went so well with the "spacescapes" and the dream theme. Very mesmerizing; I felt like I was floating.

Just wanted to stop by to thank you all for the tribute. It was very well done and definitely on-par with the originals (you may have even out-classed me...just maybe). The skits were unique, which is incredibly difficult when working with that fatass plumber. As many have before me, I have to give my hat off to Mr. Lange in particular. Dude, that last Luigi skit was unbelievably ridiculous.... Anyway, good luck on the second one and great job once again. Cheers!
