I knew you'd finish this, and it was even better than the first one. Hell, it's your best flash to date! I loved all of the beams, punches, slams, and shrapnel you had to offer. It's good to see you back, Lilmario. Outstanding effort!
PS - I was the Saviour! :D :D :D :D

Bigfoot! Ah, call me crazy but I've been waiting for your review, it's the only time we get to talk! Glad you liked it man, decided it was time for closure, only about a year late! :P
Hope to get more movies out again like the old days, don't want another drought like that! Thanks for the review, almighty saviour! :D:D:D

Sebastian! Man, for a second there I thought you weren't gonna finish this thing. But hey, you pulled through, and with flying colors I might add.
There were several aspects about this movie that impressed me. For one, the sprites were incrediblely clean, crisp, and well edited. I appreciated the lively backgrounds (especially the lightning towards the end), as they were often animated and did not disregard prespective. I enjoyed the little customs you put in there, and the attention to detail was remarkable.
The menu and scene selection were great additions, as you made them nice and pretty, while keepin' it simple and manuverable.
The voice acting was decent in general. Some parts were excellent while others could've used more work.
The soundtrack was perfect. Selections from Pirates and LotR fit this piece well. You applied loud, fanfare style songs during adventure scenes and slow, sorrowful songs during the more dramatic scenes. Nice picks. Great work here.
There was one aspect that was sort of, well, bittersweet. It seems like the storyline is fairly similar to Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom, except with Kongs, of course. While it's pretty cool to see a simian version of RotMK, it sort of shows a lack of originality. I'm not sure if you were aware of the parallels. Just pointing it out.
Either way, I'm definitely anxious for the second installment. You really did a fantastic job here, and it's great to see you back on NG again. Good luck in the future!
By the way, thanks for putting my name in the credits :D

It does look stolen. It's because the dimensions are off, or at least it appears so. Like when the screen fades out at the end, there's still some white along the sides. It could be a border ... I'm not sure. So I won't blow the whistle or anything, since I haven't personally seen this flash before.
The flash itself is quite good. Excellent sprite animation and customs and a great accapella song for Folger's (of all things). Monkeys and coffee work well together I suppose.

Very nice job on this! I liked how you incorporated actual CS:S gameplay into the flash. You had some pretty nice animation of top of that, and the synchronization was impeccable. Rocky meets CS? It's a hell of an idea, not to mention a damn good one.
By the way, can you tell me the name of that song that plays at the very end? I've always wanted to know the name of it for downloading purposes :D

Excellent use of sarcasm! I just hope some of the idiots on here don't actually utilize this as a tutorial ... it'd be red alert in seconds.
Oversized sprite battles and radial gradient stick figures are an everyday sight on NG. I'm actually surprised a flash like this hasn't already been made, so I salute you for finally bringing it to pass. Great work, man. I'll 5 it for ya.

hehe thanks.

What's up Fox? I got your email, so here's my review.
I'll start by saying, it's really hard to make me laugh. Recently, I have been dissappointed at the lack of humor in Mario parodies. However, you did a fairly nice job here, incorporating several in-game jokes with some random humor. Your skits are becoming more inventive and interesting. The sound effects were just about perfect, although I think you sort of overdid it on the jumps :]. They were all in sync and highly audible. The most impressive aspect of this movie, in my opinion, was the gaphics. Excellent camera movements and crisp sprite animations made this a pleasure for the eyes. Great job!
I'm glad you finally finished this, and congrats on the Daily 4th! Have a good one, man.
Author's Response:
Thanks, BigFoot. It means a lot to me to have a review by my favorite artists like you. :)
Yeah, I have to agree with what's going on with Mario Parodies today. It's actually hard to find jokes that are actually funny nowadays. That's basically why I chose to make jokes that are based off of their games, also it's because it relates to all other people who played the game. Well most of them, but you get the point.
Thanks again, man. Good luck with your other flashes. :D

What the heck is wrong with these kids. Sephiroth is, "the greatest villian in existance." ... HE DOESN'T EXIST! What the hell! Stop giving von Brunk godawful reviews because he kicked a hammer at your favorite imaginary friend. You may be astonished to learn that my heart isn't crushed because you humiliated him, nor will I spam you with zeros out of unadulterated fury. I still can't believe how serious some of these guys are taking this flick.
Depicting Sephiroth as an idiot was certainly entertaining. You did a rather nice job animating, although some of the tweens looked a bit funky. The storyline you came up with was probably my favorite part. Really fun to watch, man. Excellent stuff.
And please, don't pay attention to these crazed fanboys.

That was fantastic. One of the few flashes that actually made me laugh out loud. So simple, but extremely effective. Great stuff! Excellent work, man.

Well, this was certainly very professional. Excellent physics and clean cut graphics. The camera movements were smooth and the game was easy to learn and manuver through. Perhaps, a little too easy. That was my biggest problem. There was hardly a challenge here. I stopped after level eleven or so, because each level wasn't much harder than the one before it. Still, it was a great game ... even better for little kids (I mean, there's even spelling involved!). Excellent work, man.

Man, and I thought the first one was good. I appreciated the animated backgrounds. The sprites were also animated perfectly (although, I expected they would be :D). The remixed songs were a nice touch, as they were 'beefed up' and more hyper than the originals. They certainly fit the mood. The upgrade to 16-bit was a change for the better. The framerate was just as good as Bullet Bill 1, if not, better. Excellent job, man.
As soon as I finished reading your PM, I checked the portal. Sure enough, BB2. Under judgement and all. Now, maybe THIS will get you a weekly. It's about damn time >:D
