First of all, great to see you're still at it, David. Initially I was getting Star Trek vibes, then Jurassic Park or LOTR. Amazing composition fit for the big screen.

Three legendary soundtracks (and composers) to be compared to -- thank you for the kind words!

Always a pleasure, Mr. Orr. Good to see you're still at it!

DavidOrr responds:

Thanks!

REALLY good! And I mean REALLY good! Wow! Beautifully done, sir.

Yooble responds:

Thanks, its brilliant to know people are still enjoying this piece even after all these years!!

Very cool idea. Loved the blues/swing theme. Went really well with the original tune!

blackrose96 responds:

And the mashup was a total accident! lol Thank you for the kind words.

Really solid. Loved the chorus in the background--certainly made the theme even creepier. Great work.

blackrose96 responds:

Thanks! I worked really hard on this and I invested a lot of time too! I´m glad you liked the choir, I personally love it to death!!

Nicely Done

Great job on this rendition. There was an accurate portrayal of a waterworld and a dream-like state of mind. I believe there should have been more crescendos and decrescendos to really personify dreams and the ocean - i.e. waves coming in and out, a person being lulled into sleep, etc. Smart choice of instruments, especially the piano and fluttering violins. Overall, you did a fantastic job!

JakesFable responds:

Yeah defently man if it was one of my more recent projects I would of adding water fall sound effects and stuff into it to spiff it up alot. Thanks alot for the review ;)

Awesome

Hey Mike. Great job on this piece. I what really stood out was the way you built up tension and suspense. It sounded like something straight out of a retro boss battle, or perhaps a level where you're racing against the clock. Nice job man!

ShAdOxViRuS responds:

Thanks a lot!
Hey, I noticed you put up a new video.
Gonna have to watch that soon.
Your stuff makes me crack up, haha.

Excellent

Astounding as always. I really appreciated how crisp and refined this track was, especially for a rave/trance themed song. Keep it up, man. You're clearly one of the best.

DavidOrr responds:

I'm glad you think it's crisp, I just got some new studio monitors. Good to know that they weren't a waste of money!

One of the best? Thanks!!

Excellent

This one stands out as a more ambient trace piece, which I find rare nowadays. The various surges and flows you included seemed to weeve fluently. This resulted in a fantastic song, with a lot of Flash possibility. Excellent work.

CagedRealm responds:

Thanks glad you liked it and your input certainly helps.

Catchy

It's like one of those hyper scenes in a Japanese video game. Great downbeats and slurring. I had a lot of fun listening to this one - it had everything a good trance/rave song should have.

The title is quite fitting!

DaGrahamCraka responds:

thanks!

Animation is great for so many reasons...whether you're looking to reconnect with your past, to express an opinion, dream, or thought, or to just make people laugh :)
